In 1999 I was working near Chester, England, UK. with Compaq Computer dba as Hewlett Packard. In downtown Chester there was a lovely shop just off of Grosvenor Street that always smelled so delicious and so good one just had to follow their nose to the shop and give it a look see. That little shop was called LUSH and they made all their products in house. Their management philosophy was very forward thinking in that they wanted to minimize their carbon footprint and run the business so that it supported honoring the physical environment.
LUSH finally makes it to the USA. Years go by. I received 3 LUSH bath bombs as a wedding guest to the wedding (obviously) I was attending in Estes Park, CO, just up from the famous Stanley Hotel. In the suite I was staying, there was a huge copper soaking tub and I filled the tub up with hot water and plopped the bath bombs in the copper tub and enjoyed the experience. While soaking in the tub my mind began noodling on the idea of making bath bombs and giving them as gifts, selling to retail clients in Cherry Creek, and at Farmer's Markets in the area as nice little side hustle, something to keep me out of trouble so to speak.
More years go by and I am noticing that if my day includes a sport activity, and most of them do, I find that using my bath bombs is not just a nice Calgon get-a-away moment, but a bath with the my bath bombs has now become an essential part of me feeling better immediately as well as the following day.
In 2019 I had a full right knee replacement at the world class Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Englewood CO. It was then that I was introduced to Resilience Code and the very necessary world of sport recovery. In October and December of 2022 I had two full hip replacements. While I was recuperating during the winter of 22/23 I did research on sport recovery, essential oils, and CBD.
